sree just sent out an email about completing the pigbook, er FACEBOOK for the upcoming class.
This seems to be a symbol of the onslaught of emails and beginning of the roller coaster ride that will start after july fourth weekend.
It is funny having done this run last year and seeing unfold all again. (but I guess at half speed for me , as a PT-er)

summer classes continue to rule, David Blum's class has gone to another level, besides the narrative writing skills, and critique, he has really involved us in the life of a writer. the battles with editors, pitches.
etc.

last week i dumped my auditing of Hugh's mag writing class.. just too much and not right for me.

Hajdu class on Tuesday was something else as well. the class liked my radio work, particularly Phil W. who's work I respect highly, but DH hated it. all constructively and i know it pained him to tell me, ..my re-write is pending, and i have ideas ..that is besides never doing it and dropping out of j-school.. next i need a good op-id topic.

ap event

went to a great event at the AP today w/ Matt Hirschberg.
It was a re-union of all the AP reporters who had covered vietnam starting in 1950!

great reporters, great stories, and free liquor!

now to do my reading for Opinion writing class... David Hajdu.. He is great. so far one of my best classes..

wow. keeping up posting is tough!

i cant' believe it has been so long since posting.. but this summer semester is flying.. narrative writing class. ..tonight is great, but i am not doing so well, i kinda missed the point on some things, and haven't applied myself.. but no woes.



Friday is our first happy hour.. now .. to plan for that..
